Story – The wind and the sun compete

The sun and the wind were arguing about who was more powerful.

They decided to have a trial of strength and, looking down, they saw a man wearing a coat. They decided that whoever could get the coat off the man would have proved to be stronger.

The wind went first and blew and blew. But the more fiercely it blew, the more the man held his coat tightly around him.

Eventually, the wind invited the sun to have a try.

The sun simply shone on the man, who got hotter and hotter and took the coat off himself.
